The Object Properties panel is brought up by pressing the Properties button at the bottom of the Layout window, or 'p' while a Mesh or Null is selected. At the top it tells you how many objects there are and has a button to Clear all items from the scene. Below that it tells you the current selected item., and how many points and polygons that item has. You can click and select another mesh/null. If you have multiple items selected, most but not all things you do on this panel will affect all the selected items. Things which do affect multiple items will be marked (all) below.
